Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk Virginia, a 250 bead facility was in need of an emergency water supply system to ensure continuous operations during a water outage.

The design of the filtration system had to be understandable and low maintenance so that the engineering department could start and operate the system with short notice.

OWM drilled 2 wells onsite which produced poor quality water (brackish). For this reason, OWM designed a Reverse Osmosis System with Ultra Filtration and Micron Pretreatment. Sentara Leigh is now ready for any municipal water outages!

The system is also designed for continuous use to provide substantial and ongoing water savings.
